Banquet & Event Planner
Multi-Location Golf Course Restaurants

About the Role
We’re looking for a highly motivated, energetic, and fun-loving Banquet & Event Planner to lead event operations across multiple golf course restaurant locations. From elegant wedding ceremonies and receptions to spirited golf tournaments, celebration-of-life gatherings, and everything in between, you’ll create unforgettable experiences for our guests while keeping operations smooth and profitable.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Planning & Execution
- Design, coordinate, and execute events of all sizes—from intimate dinners to 200 guest weddings and large tournaments.
- Manage all event details: budgets, timelines, menus, staffing needs, décor, and vendor coordination.
- Conduct site tours and consultations with clients to tailor events to their vision.
- Multi-Location Oversight
- Oversee event operations across multiple golf course properties, ensuring consistency in service and quality.
- Travel between venues as needed for planning, setup, and on-site management.
- Client & Vendor Relations
- Serve as the primary contact for clients from inquiry through post-event follow-up.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and local partners to enhance offerings and negotiate favorable terms.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Partner with culinary, beverage, and service teams to design menus and staffing plans.
- Lead and motivate event staff to deliver exceptional hospitality.
- Financial & Administrative Duties
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and event budgets.
- Track event revenue and expenses to meet financial targets and qualify for bonus opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in event planning/coordination, preferably in hospitality, restaurants, or golf clubs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple events and locations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; comfortable with clients, vendors, and staff at all levels.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
