About the Role
We are hiring two Traffic Control Officers for evening coverage at a busy shopping center. This is an outdoor position in all weather conditions. Candidates must be available for the full schedule listed above.
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Sunday, 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep pedestrians safe and traffic moving throughout the property
- Enforce parking rules and direct vehicles to correct areas
- Manage designated zones for store deliveries, drop-offs, and pickups
- Direct taxis and rideshare vehicles to their assigned area
- Communicate clearly with drivers, shoppers, and store staff
- Report incidents and issues to supervisors promptly
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Quick, sound decision making
- Reliable and punctual
- Previous traffic control or security experience is a plus, not required
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
