Summary
We’re looking for a reliable, experienced, and motivated Kitchen Team Member to join and assist our bakery team. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and key to maintaining the quality and consistency our customers love.
Responsibilities
- Shape, proof, and bake breads and other products to spec
- Ensure daily numbers are met and accurately followed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment
- Lead, train, and support a team of bakers and kitchen staff
- Oversee daily production flow and ensure timelines are met
- Collaborate with management on daily operations, long-term oversight, and any issues that may arise
- Maintain high-quality standards and expectations
- Open availability is needed, specifically weekend availability
Requirements
- Baking or Kitchen experience (bread experience a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow and enforce recipes/processes
- Physically capable of working on your feet, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in a warm kitchen
- Dependable, punctual, and proactive
- Passionate about baking and creating a positive team environment
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety, and sanitation practices.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively lead a team.
