Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Tri-Axle Dump Truck Driver to join our team on a full-time basis. This role involves the safe and efficient transportation of aggregate materials (sand, rock, and dirt), asphalt, and construction and demolition debris to and from designated job sites.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition
- Report any mechanical or maintenance issues promptly
- Conduct or assist with routine vehicle maintenance as needed
- Safely operate the truck in a variety of weather and road conditions
- Accurately complete and maintain all required job documentation
- Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety protocols at all times
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A or B)
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Strong knowledge of construction site safety and DOT regulations
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Previous experience operating a tri-axle dump truck preferred
- Availability to work occasional weekends as needed
Compensation & Schedule
- Job Type: Full-time
- Pay: Based on experience (negotiable)
- Probationary Period: 6 months
Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
