Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Licensed Psychologist to conduct autism evaluations for children on a per diem basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child psychology, experience with autism assessments, and a passion for helping children and their families navigate the diagnostic process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive autism evaluations for children aged 0-21, including intake interviews, assessments, and standardized testing.
* Provide clear and thorough reports of evaluation results, including diagnostic impressions and recommendations.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and families to ensure comprehensive care and support.
* Maintain professional and ethical standards, adhering to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
* Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an accredited institution.
* Active, unrestricted license to practice psychology in Maryland.
* Experience conducting autism evaluations for children, including familiarity with diagnostic tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R, and other relevant assessment instruments.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
* Strong report-writing skills, with attention to detail and the ability to clearly convey complex information.
* Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with children and families.
