Heavy Equipment Operator (Multi-Equipment)
Pay: $35–$50 /hour DOE
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator with experience in excavation, underground utilities, road maintenance, and site development.
This position is for a dependable operator who can safely and efficiently operate multiple types of equipment and contribute to a productive crew environment.
We perform excavation, utility installation, and annual maintenance projects for local municipalities and government agencies. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of safety, quality, and productivity.
Equipment Experience Preferred
- Excavators
- Loaders
- Dozers
- Rollers
- Skid Steers
- Graders (preferred but not required)
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with excavation and utility installation projects
- Perform daily equipment inspections
- Read grades, plans, and utility markings
- Work around existing underground utilities
- Maintain production goals while following safety requirements
- Assist crew members when equipment work is complete
Qualifications
- 5 years of heavy equipment operating experience preferred
- Experience with excavation and underground utility work
- Valid driver's license
- CDL preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Ability to work outdoors in Alaska conditions
