Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh ingredients and assemble pizzas according to established recipes and standards
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Provide friendly, efficient customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in food prep areas, dining spaces, and kitchen stations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food handling, packaging, and delivery of orders to ensure quality and timeliness
- Support food industry operations by bussing tables, managing food storage, and restocking supplies as needed
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure quick service without compromising quality
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation or a quick service & fast food restaurant environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and the ability to upsell menu items confidently
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Previous experience in retail or grocery store environments can be beneficial but is not mandatory
