Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, possess excellent customer service skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Present menus and take orders accurately
- Provide recommendations on food and beverages
- Serve food and drinks promptly
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and reservation platforms like OpenTable
- Strong cash handling skills
- Knowledge of basic math for accurate order taking and billing
- Ability to multitask in a busy restaurant setting
- Experience in fine dining establishments is a plus
- Proven sales skills to upsell menu items
- Basic food preparation knowledge is beneficial
Weekends are must! (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!)
Will need to be available for the following holiday - Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day Holiday.
