Role Description The Safety Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Midland, TX. This role is responsible for supporting and coordinating safety programs, including maintaining safety records, tracking compliance metrics, and preparing reports for management and regulatory agencies. The Safety Administrator assists with organizing and documenting safety training, communicating safety policies and procedures, and helping supervisors and safety specialists implement health and safety initiatives in the field. The role also involves participating in incident reporting and investigations, monitoring corrective actions, and supporting continuous improvement of safety processes. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with operations teams, ensuring adherence to company safety standards, and promoting a proactive safety culture across the organization.
Qualifications
- Strong Health & Safety and Occupational Health knowledge, with the ability to apply safety standards in an energy or industrial environment.
- Experience with Environment Health and Safety (EHS) programs, including regulatory compliance, documentation, and reporting.
- Effective Communication skills, with the ability to convey safety information clearly to diverse teams and collaborate with supervisors and field staff.
- Experience in Safety Training, including coordinating sessions, maintaining training records, and supporting the delivery of safety content.
- Prior experience in industrial, construction, or energy sectors is preferred; familiarity with rig operations is a plus.
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills for managing safety documentation, logs, and compliance deadlines.
- Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., MS Office or similar) for data entry, reporting, and communication.
- Relevant certification or coursework in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, or EHS is beneficial.
