Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Veterinary Technician located at our clinic in Abilene, TX. Responsibilities include providing high-quality animal care, assisting veterinarians during examinations and procedures, administering medications, monitoring anesthesia, and educating clients about pet care. The Veterinary Technician will play a key role in maintaining a clean and organized clinic environment to ensure the best health outcomes for our patients.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Animal Care and Pet Care
- Knowledge and experience in Veterinary Technology practices
- Skills in Anesthesiology and patient monitoring
- Ability to provide effective Client Education on pet health and wellness
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Completion of a Veterinary Technician program and certification is preferred
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital is a plus
