Package Porch Mail Clerk
The Package Porch Mail Clerk is responsible for providing excellent customer service while supporting daily mail and package operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with incoming and outgoing mail services.
- Sort, log, and distribute mail and packages accurately and efficiently.
- Process outbound mail and shipping transactions.
- Assist customers with mail services and ensure all required forms and documentation are completed correctly.
- Explain available mail and shipping services and recommend options that best meet customer needs.
- Assist with mail and package deliveries as needed.
- Replenish supplies for postage meters and related mailroom equipment; forward and return mail as appropriate.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
- Assist with weekly mailroom supply inventories and annual inventory audits.
- Provide customers with supplies for the mailroom, copiers, and self-service areas as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be available to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be able to pass drug screen and background check.
