Window & Door Customer Service Specialist
Big C Lumber is looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused Window & Door Customer Service Specialist to join our window and door facility team located in Mishawaka, IN. In this role, you’ll support both our sales team and our customers by processing quotes and orders, coordinating with suppliers, and helping ensure smooth service for window, door, and trim products. If you enjoy problem-solving, communicating with others, and keeping things organized, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver outstanding customer service to internal and external customers
- Process quotes and orders for windows, exterior doors, interior doors, and trim
- Work closely with Big C sales personnel and partner suppliers as a key liaison
- Assist with daily window and door service activities, including ordering parts
- Perform clerical tasks and support special projects as assigned by the General Manager
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, coworkers, and suppliers
- Represent Big C Lumber with a positive and professional attitude
What We’re Looking For:
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience with windows and doors is a plus
Skills & Strengths
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Solid math skills and attention to detail
- Good organizational skills
- Comfortable working with computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to learn and adapt to in-house software
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Typical hours between 7am–4pm or 8am–5pm
