Wage: $18 - $19 per hour starting wage DOE

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Program Enrollment Specialist plays a pivotal role at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Arizona! They will support the volunteer, child and family enrollment process which includes volunteer and child/parent interviews, references, assessments, child safety education, and assessing for individual training needs.
The Program Enrollment Specialist will collaborate with the team to ensure that volunteers and children are appropriately enrolled and matched, with a focus on longer, stronger relationships, while executing a high degree of independent judgment when utilizing BBBS Standards and Practices. The Program Enrollment Specialist will work with the Match Support Team to offer and facilitate trainings and events to support all volunteers, children, and families.
The successful candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm and interest in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program and helping matches build relationships. They will be a self-starter, organized, and able to complete a job through many phases to the end on a timely basis. They will have experience working with a diverse population, be comfortable facilitating one on one interviews with adults and will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
This position requires some evening and weekend work.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Education Level: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, preferably in education, social services, or a related field.
- Years of Related Work Experience: A minimum of 2 years’ experience in social services, and/or youth development.
- Experience in customer service, verbal and written communication and Microsoft Office.
- Key Qualities: strong interpersonal skills, organized, positive attitude, and stellar communication.
- Other: The candidate selected for this position must successfully pass a background check and be able to work some evenings and weekend hours as needed.
- Bilingual- English/Spanish, preferred
