You will assist lead instructors with STEM activities, help students during lessons, and support day‑to‑day classroom needs.
What You’ll Do
- Help with STEM activities such as coding, robotics, and engineering
- Support hands‑on projects in chemistry, biology, and applied science
- Assist students individually or in small groups
- Encourage positive behavior and student participation
- Support students with different learning needs using positive reinforcement
- Help set up and clean up classrooms and materials
- Work as part of a team with instructors and staff
- Participate in brief trainings or team check‑ins as needed
- High school junior or senior (or college student)
- Experience working with kids (camp, tutoring, babysitting, volunteering, coaching, etc.)
- Interest in STEM subjects (science, math, robotics, technology)
- Experience with robotics programs (FLL, FTC)
- Experience with science projects or labs
- Reliable, responsible, and positive attitude
- Comfortable helping younger students learn
