We’re opening a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in Escondido, California, and we’re looking for an Assistant General Manager (AGM) who is passionate about leadership, community impact, and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do
As the Assistant General Manager, you’ll support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, staff development, and customer experience. You’ll also play a key role in driving enrollment growth and ensuring safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Progress & Customer Communication: Monitor student progress, ensure accurate move-ups, and communicate updates to parents.
- Sales Readiness: Train front desk staff on promotions, curriculum highlights, and lead conversion strategies to turn trial lessons into paid enrollments.
- Community Engagement: Help lead local marketing initiatives and build relationships with schools and community organizations.
- Team Development: Assist in hiring, training, and coaching a team of swim instructors and front-desk staff.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce all safety procedures and ensure staff certifications are current.
-* Pool Operations:* Ensure cleanliness, water quality, and compliance with maintenance procedures.
- Shift Leadership: Act as the on-site leader when the GM is unavailable.
What We’re Looking For
- Passion to work with kids
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2–5 years of management or supervisory experience.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to complete Lifeguard, CPR, and CPO certifications (paid by Big Blue).
- Ability to work evenings and at least two weekends per month.
- Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
No swim experience required – we provide paid training!
