What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Architect/Designer position at BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group?
We are looking for a Landscape Architect to join our growing NYC landscape team who work on a number of high-profile projects globally. We work closely with Partners and Project leadership on various scales from masterplans to buildings, the public realm design to furnishings and custom landscape elements.

- Professional degree in either Architecture or Landscape architecture
- 4-7 years of experience in landscape design
- Good understanding of concept through technical drawing sets
- Experience across different project stages, including later stages/detailing
- Experience in Construction Administration for landscape specific projects with built and published references
- Proven experience with grading design, planting design, natural systems, materials and technical aspects of landscape architecture
- Excellent communication skills, with English language speaking, writing and presentation skills
- Ability to work with multiple teams to provide guidance on technical development and approvals processes
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently to diverse colleagues, clients and public officials
- Strong ability with drawing in 2D and 3D via Rhino, Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe Suite
- Can manage priorities with minimal guidance
- Ability to express design ideas quickly, clearly, and succinctly
- Are flexible to new ways for working
Nice to Have Experience:
- Experience in BIM documentation for architecture or landscape architecture projects
- Has knowledge of industry BIM standards & requirements.
- Experience educating staff in Revit and related architectural software.
- Actively monitoring and streamlining Revit models.

Salary : $74,000 - $95,000
