Directs and coordinates the policies, objectives, initiatives, and programs for the delivery of physical therapy programs to patients. Oversees the performance of the physical therapy staff. Ensures the physical therapy division follows regulatory compliance requirements and standard procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to top management. Bachelor's degree in Physical or Occupational Therapy and 7-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
