Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including concrete mixer trucks and dump trucks, to deliver readymix concrete to various construction sites.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle, ensuring all safety and mechanical standards are met.
- Navigate construction zones and urban environments efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Assist with loading and unloading concrete, utilizing equipment such as loaders or excavators when necessary.
- Support on-site activities like concrete pumping, finishing, forming, rebar installation, and paving as needed.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and communication with project managers to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with construction crews to coordinate delivery schedules and address any logistical challenges promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, or concrete pumps is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle operation, including concrete mixer trucks and dump trucks.
- Familiarity with construction site procedures, safety protocols, and equipment handling.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment.
- Experience in concrete finishing, forming, rebar installation, or paving adds valuable expertise.
- Excellent driving skills with a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a clean driving record.
