Administrative Assistant

Job Description:
We are a family-owned business seeking a motivated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. This role is essential to our daily operations and will handle administrative, accounting, and customer-facing responsibilities. The ideal candidate brings fresh energy, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Handle accounting-related tasks, including invoicing and basic bookkeeping
- Use Jobber and QuickBooks for job management and accounting (experience required)
- Schedule jobs and coordinate with installers and customers
- Order materials and manage inventory needs
- Assist customers in selecting flooring products that meet their specific needs
- Learn and maintain knowledge of flooring products and services
- Manage documents and communication using Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, etc.)
- Maintain organized records and support daily office operations
Requirements:
- Prior experience in an administrative role
- Experience using Jobber and QuickBooks
- Comfortable handling accounting and invoicing tasks
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn flooring products and industry processes
- Reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the construction or flooring industry

Hours would be Monday through Friday 830 to 5 and every other Saturday from 10 to 2. The Saturday you work, you will have that Monday off during the week.
