We are seeking motivated, high-energy individuals to join us as Fireworks Tent Operators. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll run your own seasonal retail tent, manage a team, and take home an excellent income over a short sales period.

Your Responsibilities
- Hire and manage your own crew (3 to 8 people depending on tent size/traffic)
- Oversee sales, inventory, and daily deposits
- Complete tent setup and breakdown following provided checklists
- Maintain tent security and cleanliness throughout the season
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational requirements (no smoking, fire extinguishers, signage, etc.)
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure crew product knowledge
- Be available and reachable by phone during the entire sales period
Qualifications
- Strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills
- Ability to recruit, manage, and motivate a team
- Clean background check required
- High energy, enthusiasm, and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow detailed operational checklists
- Must attend a mandatory training session before the season
- Must be available a few days before and after the selling period for setup and breakdown
Skills Preferred
- Retail or sales experience
- POS (Point-of-Sale) system knowledge (training provided if needed)
- Inventory management
- Crew leadership/personnel management
Compensation
- Commission-based: 10% of gross sales (excluding tax, discounts, refunds, credit card fees, and free items from promotions)
- Setup bonus: $500 upon verified completion of setup tasks
- High-performing Operators typically earn $5,000 – $10,000 per season
Additional Information
- This is an independent contractor role, not employment. Operators are responsible for staffing, payroll, taxes, and insurance for their crews.
- Must be willing and able to relocate temporarily to the assigned tent location
