Duties
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and portion sizes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and sanitation standards at all times.
- Opening the shop before store hours
- Operating rotating oven for bagels and muffins
- Operating the mixing bowl and slicer for fresh cream cheese, muffin mixes, and produce
- Collaborate with other employees to ensure timely meal preparation and presentation.
- Support inventory management by assisting with stock rotation and reporting shortages.
- Help train new staff members on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in catering or restaurant settings, is preferred.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- 18 years or older
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help colleagues as needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
