Ecommerce Manager – Big Agnes, Inc
Position Type: Exempt/Salary Reports to: Director of Marketing & Ecommerce
Summary/Objective
The Ecommerce Manager is a dynamic leader responsible for growing and achieving the revenue goals of our online direct
sales business. Through strategic planning and utilizing the marketing team and creative services along with relationships with
3rd party partners; this position works to grow and meet revenue goals. This position works close with the Director of
Marketing & Ecommerce along with Ownership and Operations to establish online direct sales forecasts, sales strategies and
engagement goals for a sustainable business that is built on our brand, proven gear and customer service. The Ecommerce
Manager must be analytical, focused on building sustainable revenue, a strategic thinker, good communicator and a strong
team member across multiple departments.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to build revenue forecasts, sales budget and margin strategies to meet/beat revenue
- Provide channel reporting metrics and KPIs and lead direct channel report meetings quarterly
- Share meeting responsibility with Brand Manager to plan and oversee the department staff meetings and
- Tracks monthly/yearly revenue goals across ecommerce sites based on year-to-date progress and strategically and
- Strategically establish and drive off-price sales on ecommerce channels (Gear Outlet) following MAPP rules
- Develop and execute strategic plans to engage with new/existing consumers, drive brand & product awareness to
- Manage internal and external partners to strategize email campaigns, align with PRO channels, social web content
- Strategize email and SMS campaigns in Klayvio based on sales plans including planning and scheduling, audience
- Manages review syndication platform and email follow-up program via review platform
- Active participant in go-to-market process providing ecommerce insight as needed
- Lead operations to identify and drive bigagnes.com site improvements including site navigation, translation accuracy
and app management, content development, checkout funnel and enhancements to drive higher AOV/UPT and
conversion rate
- Generate QR code URLs and landing pages timed with seasonal in-line and SMU hang tag and packaging content ,
- Understands and communicates to Marketing team inventory flow and anticipated demand to assist in setting site and
- Create discount codes to be used on bigagnes.com for employee anniversary benefit, pro cards, event distribution,
- Collaborate with supply and demand teams to maintain direct sales inventory based on demand and marketing plans;
- Manages external partners to deliver projects on time and on budget. In addition, work with internal stakeholders to
- Monitor and ensure ongoing compliance with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) standards and data privacy
Operations team and external teams.
Job Qualifications:
- College degree in business, marketing, or related field
- Proven experience as an Ecommerce Manager with understanding of SMS and email marketing trends
- Outstanding analytical skills, strong experience interpreting test results & drawing conclusions
- Attention to detail and an ability to multitask
- Clear ability to collaborate, work effectively across departments
- Ability to travel to tradeshows, conferences, industry events
- Great attitude and a reflection of the Big Agnes brand
Working Environment/Physical Activities:
- Ability to sit for period of times at the computer/phone.
- Possible heavy lifting, bending whilst assisting other departments.
- Ability to possibly stand for durations of time.
- Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets
