Responsibilities
- Control access to the facility by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activity and identify potential security threats
- Perform routine patrols of the premises to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized entry
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergency situations with appropriate conflict management techniques
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior and preventing theft or damage
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks in shift reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents or investigations as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; training will be provided if necessary
- Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems and conducting visual inspections
- Knowledge of conflict management strategies and conflict resolution techniques
- Ability to remain calm and professional during high-pressure situations
- Excellent observation skills with attention to detail in monitoring surroundings
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods throughout shifts
