Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented RF Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will assist in designing, testing, and optimizing radio frequency systems and components, supporting the development of cryogenic microwave electronics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead in designing RF circuits, and systems based on project requirements
- Conduct measurements and testing of RF components and systems using appropriate equipment
- Operate cryogenic systems for low temperature testing
- Analyze test data and troubleshoot RF issues to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with junior engineers to develop and refine RF designs
- Support the integration and validation of RF hardware in various applications
- Document design, test procedures, and results accurately and clearly
- Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and emerging RF technologies
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
- Firm understanding of RF concepts and transmission line theory
- Familiarity with RF testing equipment (e.g., network analyzers, spectrum analyzers)
- Device prototyping timelines and roadmaps
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of CAD tools for RF design (e.g., ADS, HFSS)
- Experience with programming languages such as MATLAB or Python
- Experience in cryogenic systems
- Experience with parametric devices
