Biewer Wisconsin Sawmill is looking to add a full time Electrical Supervisor to our team in Prentice, WI. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and ability to get work done through others. The position will be responsible for overseeing the electrical staff, coordinating electrical installations and collaborating with managers to integrate systems and resolve technical issues.
Hours: Monday - Friday 4:00 am - 12:00 pm
Accountabilities:
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Coach and train electricians
- Plan and coordinate electrical secondary system additions or modifications.
- Install and monitor performance of installed electrical equipment.
- Repair and maintains motor control centers and programmable logic controls.
- Participate in weekly manager/department meetings.
- Document weekly periodic inspections
- Ensure safety work orders are completed on time.
- Ensure safe work practices, follow safety procedures and complete required safety forms, checklists and permits.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Electrical – Mechanical
- 3 years of Supervisory experience
- Valid electrical license
- Proven experience as an electrical supervisor or senior electrician in an industrial environment.
- Work in varying weather conditions and around heavy machinery
- Use of PPE as required: hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor/industrial environment
- Must have good computer skills.
- Bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
Pay:
- Pay will commensurate with experience.
