General Labor/Machine Operator
Biewer Sawmill, Inc. – McBain, MI., is looking to add a full-time
General Labor/Machine Operator to our team in McBain, MI.
This position will train for various roles, possess problem-solving
skills, and enjoy being a team player.
Schedule: 1st Shift - M-F (4:00 am – 12:00 pm)
Accountabilities:
Primary responsibilities will include:
Train on various aspects of sawmill and planer
manufacturing processes.
- Follow work instructions and monitor equipment
performance.
- Identify and communicate production and quality
concerns.
- Ensure safe work practices and follow safety
procedures.
- Maintain good industrial housekeeping at workstations
and other work areas.
- Operate mobile equipment safely.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Solid work history.
- Mechanical aptitude.
