Bienvivir All-Inclusive Senior Health (“Bienvivir”) is a community-based, patient-centered, comprehensive health care delivery system that advocates and promotes quality of life, optimum independence, dignity, and choices in a nurturing environment for frail seniors. Since 1987, Bienvivir has served the frail seniors of El Paso, Texas through the provision of the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (“PACE”).
PACE is a unique managed care benefit for frail seniors (referred to as participants) age 55 and older who are certified by the state as needing nursing home level care and who reside in a PACE service area. PACE programs coordinate and provide comprehensive medical and support services so that participants can remain independent and stay in their homes for as long as safely possible.
BENEFITS for Full and Part-time employees who work 30 or more hours per week:
We pay 100% of the MEDICAL monthly premiums for Employee Only coverage.
We pay 100% of the DENTAL monthly premiums for Employee Only coverage.
We provide an affordable VISION monthly premium for Employee Family coverage.
We pay 100% of BASIC LIFE for a benefit amount of $10,000.
We offer safe harbor matching contributions for the 403(B) RETIREMENT SAVINGS account.
We offer up to fifteen (15) days of PAID TIME OFF based on paid hours per pay period.
We offer eleven (11) company-observed PAID HOLIDAYS.
We offer education and TUITION REIMBURSEMENT.

Bienvivir Is Currently Accepting Applications For The Following Position
FLOAT HOME HEALTH PROVIDER (PAS ATTENDANT)
Responsible for providing Personal Assistance Services to participants in their place of residence; examples include, but are not limited to, assistance with removing and putting on clothing, bathing, eating, using the restroom, transferring, light housecleaning, and meal preparation. Personal Assistance Services do not include performing medical procedures (e.g., administering shots) or medical monitoring (e.g., takes blood pressure). Follows established individualized service plans for participants under the instruction and supervision of the registered nurse. Assists family members in maximizing participant comfort through the provision of effective home health care and observes and reports any changes in the participant’s status to the assigned supervisor.
The Float PAS Attendant is not assigned to one location. Instead, the Float PAS Attendant will be assigned work in a location or department, to fill vacancies created by leaves of absence, vacation, vacant positions, or anyone who misses work.

Responsibilities
- Assumes responsibility for providing effective personal assistance services.
- Effectively follows company policy and procedures.
- Assumes responsibility for knowledge and demonstration of proper safety techniques.
- Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with participants, family members, staff members, supervisors, and management.
- Assumes the duties of Daycare Personal Care Attendant as needed.
- Accountable for related duties as required or assigned.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and demonstrate competency to perform the tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Previous relevant experience in personal care or home health care, or in assisting frail, elderly people with performing activities of daily living.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge Of
- Care of people who have mental or physical limitations or have a disability.
- Geriatric population, the home environment, the aging process, and family dynamics.
- Relationships between participants, family members, and home care providers.
- Understand and follow instructions from the supervisor.
- Understand and communicate in English and Spanish (Preferred bilingual).
- To demonstrate flexibility in changes to participants’ schedules regarding activities of daily living such as bathing times or meal preparation times.
- To discern a participant’s mood and needs.
- To plan, organize, and control the performance of tasks in the home environment.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Flexible to work seven (7) days a week (as assigned), including weekends and holidays.
- Flexible to work overtime (if necessary).
- Flexible to work in different home settings; examples include, but are not limited to, houses and apartments.
- Required to complete training on use of Hoyer Lift within three (3) months of hire.
- Required to complete at least 12 hours of mandatory in-service and compliance training annually.
