This is a full-time, on-site role for a Painter located in Midland, MI. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting, mixing and applying paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes to interiors and exteriors. Additional tasks include inspecting completed work for quality, maintaining painting tools and equipment, and adhering to safety standards and best practices throughout projects.
- Proficiency in surface preparation techniques, including sanding, cleaning, and priming
- Experience in mixing paints and applying paint, stains, and finishes to achieve desired results
- Familiarity with using various painting tools and equipment such as brushes, rollers, and sprayers
- Ability to assess projects for quality assurance and detail orientation
- Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a clean and hazard-free workspace
- Strong time management and organizational skills to efficiently complete projects within deadlines
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team
- Previous painting experience and a valid driver’s license preferred
