Educational Technician

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy, math, and early childhood education.
• Support classroom management by assisting with behavior management strategies and maintaining a positive, structured environment conducive to learning.
• Provide individualized educational support to students, including those with disabilities or special needs such as autism, ensuring equitable access to learning activities.
• Help prepare instructional materials and resources that enhance lesson delivery and student engagement.
• Monitor student progress and communicate observations to teachers for ongoing assessment and curriculum development.
• Support teachers in managing classroom logistics, including attendance tracking, behavior management assistance, and implementing classroom routines.

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings such as daycare, preschool, private schools, or early childhood programs.
• Knowledge of special education principles, childhood development, behavior management techniques, and curriculum development.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and students.
• Technical proficiency with educational tools and classroom technology.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to assist in lesson planning for diverse learners across subjects like literacy education and math.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
