Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic outside sales plans to target new business opportunities within assigned territories.
  • Manage existing accounts through proactive account management strategies, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and leveraging CRM software to identify potential clients.
  • Conduct engaging product demos and presentations to showcase solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals effectively while upselling additional products or services to maximize revenue.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop territory-specific campaigns that boost brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline status using CRM tools like Salesforce.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and offering technical sales support when needed.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Support the management team with territory management efforts, including planning visits and tracking progress toward sales targets.

Skills

  • Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or territory management with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong business development skills with the ability to generate leads through cold calling and networking.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills to build lasting client relationships.
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce for managing contacts, tracking sales activities, and analyzing data.
  • Ability to deliver compelling product demos and technical presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies that support lead generation and brand positioning within assigned territories.
  • Experience in technology or retail sales is a plus, along with skills in analysis and strategic planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts effectively while providing top-tier customer service.
