Role Description:
- This is a 100% remote, contract (1099) position for a Remote Contract Attorney.
- The attorney will provide litigation support on a variety of matters, depending on the needs of the firm.
- Responsibilities may include drafting pleadings and motions, conducting legal research, assisting with case management, preparing for and attending remote hearings (via Zoom where applicable), and supporting litigation strategy. Assignments will vary based on case requirements.
- This role is well-suited for attorneys seeking flexible, project-based work focused on litigation support, without responsibility for client acquisition.
Qualifications:
- Experience in litigation support, including drafting pleadings and motions
- Strong legal research and analytical skills
- Ability to manage assignments independently and meet deadlines
- Experience with remote hearings and virtual practice environments is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (Florida preferred; multi-state admission a plus)
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
