- Full-time employees are eligible for all benefits (medical, dental, vision, and voluntary products)
- Part-time employees (29 or fewer hours per week) are eligible for Voluntary Life, Voluntary Short-Term Disability,
- Benefits start the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment! *full-time employees*

- Pay available daily
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Occasional mandatory travel required for training and development purposes.
- Order food, following Bickford’s process, in a timely, cost-effective manner.
- Ensure appropriate information is available to produce meals (i.e., production sheets, recipes, prep/pull sheets, week’s extension menus, week-at-a-glance menus).
- Prepare meals following Bickford’s menus, processes, and expectations.
- Serve food timely, at correct temperatures and appropriately plated.
- Ensure Bickford’s process is followed during meal service.
- Interact with residents in the Dining Room during meals to enhance their dining experience.
- Follow the Kitchen Daily Task Guide.
- Utilize residents’ Meal Order Information form to follow/track all resident physician ordered diets, allergies, and preferences.
- Maintain food service records in accordance with regulatory requirements and Bickford’s policies.
- Store food in accordance with regulatory requirements and Bickford’s policies.
- Ensure completion of the Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule.
- Ensure the kitchen and dining room meet regulatory requirements and Bickford’s expectations for cleanliness.
- Coordinate with marketing and life enrichment leaders to ensure appropriate food/refreshments are provided for tours and events.
- High School Diploma or GED; one-year related experience
- Willing to take additional training or education, which specific states may require.
- ServSafe, CPR and First Aid certifications required
- A valid driver’s license and a driving record that is consistent with Bickford’s insurance carrier guidelines
- Ability to handle multiple priorities Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication Competent in organizational and time management skills Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
