Job Overview
We are looking for someone to join our warehouse team at Bickels Surplus. This job will include the use of forklifts and pallet jacks with occasional to frequent heavy lifting. We are looking to keep growing our small family owned business and would like your help in doing so.
Duties
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading trucks
- Stock shelves and organize inventory to optimize space and accessibility
- Ensure proper packaging of products for safe transportation while adhering to quality standards
- Support inventory control through stock counts, cycle counts
Qualifications
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred, but no necessary
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks
- Basic math skills for counting, measurements, and inventory calculations
- Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items regularly, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
