Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operator to join our team in a dynamic construction environment. This position involves operating various heavy machinery and performing labor-intensive tasks on construction sites in the Treasure Valley area. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating equipment and other construction needs, as well as a strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
Duties
- Operate heavy machinery including skid steer, mini excavator, auger, bucket truck.
- Perform tasks such as excavation and backfill using various skid steer implements, welding, setting street light poles, loading and unloading trailers and equipment.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working condition and report any issues to supervisors.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
- Assist with site preparation, material handling, and cleanup tasks as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Previous experience operating heavy machinery on construction sites is preferred.
- Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is a plus. But not required.
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting heavy materials.
- Strong understanding of safety practices related to construction operations.
- Willingness to learn new skills and be trained to operate different types of equipment as needed.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
