Role Description
We are seeking an administratively competent person with a heart for serving God’s mission through BLE in the marketplace.
Role Description
Works directly with Executive Director and other ministry leaders in overseeing the main organizational and administrative activities of the ministry.
Responsibilities
· Ministry Communications:
o Maintain the ministry’s Contact Relationship Management (CRM) system.
o Manage communications (i.e. email campaigns, newsletters, correspondence, filing, mail, analytics and ministry calendar.
o Maintain website calendar and content. Compile analytics reports.
· Event Coordination:
o Collaborates with staff and ministry leaders for assistance regarding event venue, registration, materials, meal orders and attends (when needed).
o Oversee administrative functions for BLE’s annual Summit.
· Ministry Meetings:
o Provide support, communications and attend BLE staff, team or board meetings (when needed).
o Help maintain necessary records for the ministry.
o Oversee supply of ministry and office resources and materials.
· Financial Processing
o Use basic functions in QuickBooks to prepare checks and financial income/expense details to the bookkeeper.
o Make bank deposits and interface with the bank as needed.
o Maintain donor records, generate reports and schedule acknowledgements.
· Courses & Resources
o Support Training Director and ministry leaders with copies of course materials
Management
The role is managed by the Executive Director. Most of the work can be done remotely, however there is an expectation of one workday per week being at the BLE office.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Strong Christian faith.
· Commitment to BLE’s Mission and Strategy.
· Excellent administrative skills.
· Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
· Experience of scheduling meetings.
· Good interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency with Word, Excel, Google sheets.
· Basic skills in QuickBooks.
Desirable:
· Experience of event management/coordination.
· Experience of website and CRM maintenance (training can be provided).
· 3 years of administrative, nonprofit, ministry, or operations experience.
Renumeration
Minimum 72 hours per month (18 hours per week) at $18.50 per hour ($15,984 per annum). There can be flexibility in how the working hours are structured. There is also a possibility for the role to become a full-time position.
