The role, at a glance :
As part of the Human Resources team, the Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for helping in a variety of administrative and interpersonal tasks that support the team members and the overall experience of the employees of Biamp at large. A successful Human Resources Assistant will be comfortable working through existing processes with a keen eye to detail, while also being nimble as we create new efficiencies and structures that will scale to support our growing Biamp team.
How you'll contribute :
- Provide support in the administration of company benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401(k). Assist employees with standard questions and requests regarding benefits
- Lead the Family Medical Leave process (and state equivalents) and assist in Workers Compensation paperwork as needed. This will include tracking and follow up based on established timelines, and requires handling sensitive information with a high level of compassion as well as compliance
- Provide administrative support such as preparing correspondence, reporting, scheduling and logistics, and employee communication in partnership with hiring managers and HR Business Partners
- Maintain employee records and process employee changes with a focus on data integrity
- Lead in processing United States Payroll and provide backup assistance for rest of world payrolls
- Assist in other areas of HR as needed (recruitment, social committee, wellness, auditing, and other HR projects)
- Lead in our Offboarding processes (exit interview, final pay, documentation)
- State Account / Admin Account management
- Benefit Update Administration (Qualifying events, Benefit Arrears, etc.) and Billing
- Manage various employment verifications and work with VOE vendor
- Manage Unemployment requests
- Manage National Medical Support Orders
