Overview
We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Scientist to join our high-throughput analytical chemistry lab team. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and will be a good fit in our company culture. This role involves preparing and testing samples by various chromatography and mass spectrometry methods, analyzing data, and adhering to our quality management system, as well as performing general lab cleaning and routine instrument maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in laboratory procedures; experience with HPLC, LCMS-MS, ICPMS and/or GCMS is a plus. Responsibilities
- Prepare samples for analysis, test them via multiple Chromatography methods, analyze test results, and report them using a laboratory information management system.
- Troubleshoot method or instruments as problems arise.
- Adhere to quality management system
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces in the lab.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure test accuracy and reliability.
- Chromatography/mass spectrometry experience is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and confidentiality.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
