Food Runner/Busser

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires a strong commitment to food safety and customer service, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers.

Duties

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy of orders.
• Assist in setting up and clearing tables, maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.
• Support kitchen staff with food preparation and handling as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen personnel to ensure smooth service flow.
• Help with bussing tables and restocking supplies as necessary during busy shifts.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly.
• Maintain a positive attitude while working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food safety practices and culinary terminology is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
• Basic knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques is a plus.
