Event Director

Our Event Operations team is seeking three Event Directors to join the team. This role will handle all aspects of client travel incentive programs or meetings onsite. Our Event Directors need to be located in the Minneapolis Metro.

BIW Event Solutions Group is seeking talented and hard-working Event Directors to join our team.

The Event Director is responsible for leading the onsite execution of corporate meetings and incentive programs. This role serves as the primary operational leader during events; ensuring all logistics, vendors, staff, venues, and guest experiences are executed seamlessly. The Event Director acts as the central point of coordination, proactively resolving issues, managing event flow, and delivering an exceptional experience for clients and attendees on complex domestic & international incentive and meeting programs.

What You'll Do

• Extensive travel required (150-180 days annually) for onsite event execution of meetings, incentive travel programs, conferences, and special events.
• Serve as the primary onsite leader responsible for program success.
• Direct event staff, vendors, and suppliers to ensure seamless delivery of all event elements.
• Anticipate and resolve operational challenges quickly and professionally.
• Develop detailed operational plans and ensure adherence to onsite event timelines and client expectations to translate into successful event experiences.
• Coordinate onsite logistics including registration, transportation, accommodations, food and beverage, meetings, hospitality, and VIP services.
• Ensure attendee safety and compliance with established policies.
• Address attendee's concerns in a timely and professional manner by delivering exemplary customer service and memorable participant experiences.

Preferred Experience

• An undergraduate degree in business, hospitality or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Minimum of two years of business experience.
• Strong customer service background or experience within the hospitality industry.
  
  

Hourly Rate Range: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour. This role involves extended workdays while onsite for programs. As an hourly position, with additional hours eligible for overtime pay, providing additional earning potential during busy program weeks.
