The Business Intelligence Lead will serve as a strategic leader in the organization, advocating for data driven decision-making and promoting the adoption of business intelligence tools and practices. This role involves collaborating with various departments to identify data needs, develop insights, and drive business performance improvements.
Job Responsibilities
- Promotes a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization by demonstrating the value of business intelligence tools and analytics.
- Works closely with stakeholders across departments to understand their data needs and provide tailored BI solutions.
- Oversees the implementation and maintenance of BI tools and platforms, ensuring they meet organizational requirements.
- Develops and delivers training sessions for staff on BI tools, data visualization, and analytics best practices.
- Analyzes complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that support business objectives.
- Creates and maintains dashboards and reports that provide visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
- Evaluates existing BI processes and recommends enhancements to improve data quality, accessibility, and reporting efficiency.
- Acts as the primary point of contact for BI-related inquiries, fostering strong relationships with business leaders and teams.
- Establishes and monitors metrics to assess the effectiveness of BI initiatives and their impact on business outcomes
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Oracle Analytics Cloud), SQL, and data visualization techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with project management principles and experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams in adopting BI practices.
- Works independently with minimal supervision; self-motivated and able to take ownership of work
- Results-oriented, with the initiative to complete tasks thoroughly.
