We are looking for a master and journeyman electrician who has enough experience to join our team, supporting various industrial, commercial, and construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive electrical experience, including working with high and low voltage systems, schematics, and blueprint reading. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects such as renovation, construction, and maintenance across different sites. Candidates must hold a valid electrician license and demonstrate proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment like ohmmeters. Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), NEC standards, and schematics is highly desirable. The position requires a detail-oriented professional committed to safety and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in industrial, commercial, and construction environments
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate wiring and system setup
- Work with low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in compliance with NEC standards
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to diagnose electrical issues
- Install programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and integrate automation components into existing systems
- Perform renovations and upgrades on existing electrical infrastructure during construction or maintenance projects
- Adhere to all safety protocols related to electrical work, including proper handling of high voltage systems
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within scope
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed for compliance and future reference
Qualifications
- Valid licensed Electrician certification (state or local licensing authority)
- Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician; construction site experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and low/high voltage wiring
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and electrical testing devices
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems is a plus
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with renovation projects and construction environments
- Basic carpentry skills such as framing or maintenance person experience are advantageous but not required
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in safety-critical environments
