Summary Manages/administers the print and digital libraries at Baptist Health Lexington to provide educational resource centers to improve quality of care and services to patients, staff, and the community based on thorough, timely, and accurate information and to promote professional growth and support of those involved with providing care. Job Description: Medical Librarian Part-time Job Description: Manages/administers the print and digital libraries at Baptist Health Lexington to provide educational resource centers to improve quality of care and services to patients, staff, and the community based on thorough, timely, and accurate information and to promote professional growth and support of those involved with providing care. Monitors library operations including but not limited to interlibrary loan, circulation, cataloging, budget, storage and retrieval of archival materials and other library functions. Provides and trains staff on the use of electronic CE for physicians, nurses, dietitians, social workers, physical therapists, and others. Supports Baptist Health and its affiliates as a consultant for library services. Maintains patient education and consumer health (print, electronic, digital/video) libraries.
