Summary Job Description: Baptist Health is seeking a PRN CT Technologist. With limited supervision, the CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure. This role includes gathering patient histories, verifying identification and exam orders, and preparing accurate records to support diagnostic review by the Radiologist. The technologist follows department protocols, monitors patients during exams, uses appropriate radiation protection, and assists the Radiologist as needed. Proficiency in EPIC and Enterprise Imaging systems is essential, including completing and managing studies within both platforms. The CT Technologist performs quality assurance checks on imaging to ensure diagnostic accuracy and maintains equipment functionality through regular quality control tasks. Responsibilities also include ordering and restocking supplies and reporting equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel. In the absence of the Team Leader, the technologist is accountable for managing patient flow to ensure efficient departmental operations. Requirements: Graduate of accredited school of Radiology Technology. Active KBMIRT required at time of hire. ARRT or NMTCB with CT certification required. CT Registry is required. Registry eligible candidates are required to obtain CT certification within one year of employment. When in house training occurs, employee has 16 weeks of training before their one-year period begins where they have to obtain CT certification. Current BCLS certification within 90 days of hire.
