Position: Civil Engineer with Petrochemical Experience
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Structural Engineer with experience in the petrochemical sector to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil/structural engineering principles, with specialized knowledge in the design, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure for petrochemical facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, plan, and execute civil engineering projects within the petrochemical industry.
- Conduct site assessments and surveys to identify project requirements and constraints.
- Develop detailed engineering designs, including site layout, foundations, structural components, and utility systems, adhering to industry codes and standards.
- Perform feasibility studies, cost estimates, and risk assessments for proposed projects.
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle, from conceptual design to construction and commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to oversee project implementation and resolve any technical issues or challenges that may arise.
- Conduct quality assurance and quality control checks to ensure the integrity and reliability of civil engineering systems and structures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility for licensure.
- Minimum of [5] years of experience in civil structural engineering, with a focus on petrochemical projects.
- Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools, such as AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, and other civil engineering design software.
- Solid understanding of petrochemical processes, equipment, and facilities.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
