We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our Hampton Inn. The ideal candidate will lead a team of cleaning staff, ensure high standards of cleanliness, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of cleaning procedures, and experience in hospitality or janitorial services. The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the overall appearance and sanitation of the property.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping and laundry staff to ensure cleanliness standards are met consistently.
- Schedule daily work assignments, monitor performance, and provide training to team members on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Oversee inventory management for cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and stock levels.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures related to cleaning operations, including proper handling of chemicals and equipment.
- Collaborate with management to develop cleaning PM schedules that optimize efficiency while minimizing disruptions.
- Address guest or staff concerns promptly, resolving issues related to cleanliness or service quality.
- Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, training sessions, and inspection reports.
- Must be familiar with PEP, Hotel Key
- Understand and implement Hilton Quality standard, make sure hotel always ready for QA, Perform PM as prescribe by SSOP and Hiton standard
- Able do root cause analysis and take corrective action timely manner
- Must be flexible to work all shift, weekends and holidays as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in housekeeping management within hotels, hospitality settings, or industrial cleaning environments.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, custodial practices, and janitorial procedures.
- Experience with hotel or hospitality industry standards is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to industrial cleaning and custodial work.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
