Senior Business Development Manager – Furnishing Division | New York, NY · $85K–$125K OTE
About the Role A luxury FF&E procurement and installation company serving high-end residential buildings across the New York metro area is looking for a seasoned business development professional to lead new client acquisition for its furnishing division. The ideal candidate brings an established network of developer relationships and knows how to turn face time into signed deals. This is a field-based role built around relationship-driven selling, not cold calling.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with real estate developers across the New York metro area
- Close deals through in-person meetings and relationship-driven selling
Relationship Management
- Leverage an existing network of developer contacts to generate warm introductions and new projects
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
Market Intelligence
- Track new development projects using industry sources such as The Real Deal and other real estate publications
- Stay current on market trends and upcoming opportunities in the luxury residential space
Qualifications
- Established Rolodex of developer contacts within the real estate industry
- Proven track record of closing deals through face-to-face relationship building, not cold calling
- Comfortable working in a field-based, on-the-ground capacity
