About the Role A growing ecommerce company is looking for an SEO Expert to own and drive their organic search strategy. This is a hybrid role based out of Brooklyn, ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data, content, and technical optimization in a fast-moving online retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
SEO Strategy
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to grow organic traffic and revenue
- Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and opportunity mapping
Technical & On-Site Optimization
- Audit and optimize site structure, metadata, page speed, and crawlability
- Collaborate with development and content teams to implement SEO best practices
Performance & Reporting
- Monitor rankings, traffic, and conversions using analytics tools
- Translate data insights into actionable recommendations and report on KPIs
Qualifications
- Proven experience in SEO, preferably within an ecommerce environment
- Strong grasp of technical SEO, on-page optimization, and link-building strategies
- Proficiency with tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a hybrid setting
