As Non-CDL Driver you play a vital role in the nursing facility by ensuring residents have safe, reliable transportation to medical appointments, activities, and essential services. In This Role You Will:
- Schedules transportation for residents within regularly scheduled work hours.
- Transports residents to and from appointments, life enrichment activities, meal service, and other locations on or off the community grounds, as necessary
- Assists residents with getting in and out of the vehicle and with any additional items or equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs, medical records or other paperwork, grocery bags and/or personal items
- May escort resident into or out of the location and/or may wait for the resident during the visit or appointment when appropriate.
- Coordinates and communicates transportation vehicle service appointment information with maintenance staff, supervisor and/or service vendors as required
- Accommodates the pick-up and drop off of the community vehicles to and from service appointments
- May run errands for residents and management staff as requested.
- Completes transportation- related documentation, processes charges, and makes/sends reminds in accordance with community policy and procedure.
- Advises supervisor of needed vehicle repairs and other needs
- Maintains cleanliness and proper service for each vehicle (fuel, lubricants, etc.); immediately reports wear and tear or damage to the supervisor
Shift Details:
- Hours will vary between 8a-5p. The ideal candidate will have some flexibility in their schedule to accommodate some later appointments. This is a part-time hourly position
Who You Are:
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Must be able to meet Department of Transportation testing and requirements.
- Prior professional driving experience, preferred
- A reliable team player and have passion to work with the elderly!

Salary : $16 - $18
