JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly analytical and hands-on SCM Manager to lead our end-to-end supply chain operations, spanning from direct poultry sourcing to 3PL-based distribution for our U.S. franchise network. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between our Korea-manufactured proprietary products and local sourcing channels, managing complex inventory flows and building robust cost structures to ensure seamless franchise support. As a bilingual professional in English and Korean, you will play a critical role in cross-functional collaboration and supplier negotiations, utilizing advanced data modeling to optimize procurement timing, safety stock levels, and landed cost efficiency in a fast-paced, multi-channel environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop a strong understanding of the poultry (broiler chicken) supply chain, including sourcing, processing, pricing structures, and yield implications within a franchise business model.
- Manage and follow up on direct sourcing channels from poultry processing plants to franchisees, as well as 3PL-based distribution flows.
- Oversee end-to-end supply flows across:
-Poultry processing plants → franchise direct sourcing
-Suppliers → 3PL → franchise distribution
-Korea-manufactured BHC proprietary products → U.S. 3PL → franchisees
- Monitor and manage 3PL inventory levels, inbound/outbound movements, inventory accuracy, aging, and replenishment to ensure uninterrupted franchise supply.
- Analyze demand forecasts and purchasing requirements to determine procurement quantities, timing, and safety stock levels.
- Build and maintain cost structures and landed cost models, incorporating sourcing cost, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
- Perform scenario-based analysis and simulations (e.g., volume changes, sourcing options, logistics routes) to evaluate financial and operational impact.
- Generate and maintain regular reports on inventory, COGS, supplier spend, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Continuously monitor variances between forecasted vs. actual costs and volumes, and identify key drivers.
- Lead supplier engagement, including price follow-ups, quote evaluation, negotiations, and issue escalation.
- Collaborate with Finance to reconcile accounts payable discrepancies, supplier invoices, and cost variances.
- Work cross-functionally with Operations, Warehouse/3PL partners, Logistics, and Franchise teams to align supply strategies and prevent stock-outs or delivery disruptions.
- Perform additional analytical or strategic supply-chain-related tasks as assigned to support business needs.
