Bhatt Law Group, a law firm based in Jersey City, is seeking an ambitious and dedicated Associate Attorney to join our team of criminal defense attorneys.
This position is full-time from our Jersey City office and also requires travel for court appearances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional representation to clients in a variety of criminal defense matters.
- Engage in client consultations to evaluate the case and provide legal advice.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Efficiently manage a caseload of varying complexity while ensuring deadlines are met and clients are informed of the progress.
Qualifications:
- JD degree and admission to the New Jersey State Bar.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.
